Overview
The physical world isn't as searchable as a database. Questions like Do I have X at home? or Where are my red Christmas balls? come up all the time. The problem is, keeping track of personal items usually means entering everything manually and constantly updating it when things move. That's an issue most people don't want to deal with. Uberblix aims to reduce the effort involved. By using smart image recognition, the app can:
- Detect barcodes and QR codes
- Recognize unique text and markings
- Identify objects based on shape and appearance
It works similarly to a scanner in a shop, but just with your phone. This way, users don't have to log every item manually, making it easier to keep track of things over time.
